Last summer we had three interns who assisted us with Sports Programs for Burns High School, Crest High School and Kings Mountain High School. They also assisted with a visit from Governor Perdue to announce Cleveland County as a new home for an expansion of Clearwater Paper. Their fun and contagious youth was very evident during the planning and implementation of a Golf Tournament and Celebration that was held for the American Legion World Series volunteers at Cleveland Country Club.
Rebecca Rupp one of our interns from last summer has returned to Champion as a Marketing Assistant. She brings an array of knowledge with her and has quickly become the go to person for Social Networking information. As a Kentucky native, Rebecca grew up participating in activities leading up to the Kentucky Derby, her family's business Kern's Kitchen is the home of the official pie of the derby -
